“Hypnodance” is what happens when you catch yourself moving to a rhythm you didn’t realize was there. It’s playful, a little hypnotic, and not meant to be overthought. I painted this one while letting my mind wander - following curves, repeating motions, getting lost in the flow and enjoying it. It feels light, a bit goofy in the best way, like dancing around the room when no one’s watching. This piece is about letting go, trusting the motion, and allowing yourself to drift into that oddly happy, in-between state where nothing needs to make perfect sense.
